    Lennox diplomat series
I have a lennox diplomat model 10AC42 and the condenser fan does not run even thought the condenser unit is working and has electric... the fan moves freely if spun manually but does not stay turning... the condenser cycles on for a short while without the fan running, gets very warn and then shuts itself off... is the fan motor bad? Can it be replaced separately or does the whole unit need replaced?

You might try to replace the condenser fan motor capacitor. If that fails then it is motor time. Access and wiring diagram located on the outdoor A/C service access panel.

Lennox Diplomat not cooling [ 3 Answers ]

Hi, I've got a Lennox Diplomat A/C unit, model 10AC30-3P. Connected to the furnace. When I switch the Thermostat to cool, it clicks on as per normal, fan goes, compressor goes, and no cool air. Does this sound like a refrigerant problem? What are the typical causes of this? Thanks much,...
