    Paternity Probability?
I have a typical cycle of 28-30 days. I know I had a period on April 15th. I had sex on April 25th 2010 with one partner and I had sex again on May 6th 2010 with a second partner. I had sex with the second partner throughout the month of May. I also had a period the week of May 24th. I resumed sex with the second partner on May 30th. I have not had sex in June. I went to the hospital earlier this week due to some prolonged and painful cramping in my stomach. They told me I was pregnant. Using only my hormone levels the nurse in the ER told me that I was 6-8 weeks. I know without a paternity test I can never know 100% for sure, but as a matter of opinion who is more likely the father?

If your last monthly period STARTED on May 24, you most likely conceived on June 6 or 7. Now remember that the sperm can live in a woman's body for several days before conception actually occurs.

So, if you have not had sex with partner #1 since May 6, most likely partner #2 is the father. However, a paternity test will need to be done to determine accurate parentage.

Thanks J_9 for the response. However, in my inquiry I stated I know I did not have sex in June. Last day I had sex was May 30. From my hormone levels alone the ER nurse said I had to be about 6-8 weeks along. I have yet to do an ultrasound.
