Can't open IE or Mozilla because of a Invalid Desktop Request error (Windows XP)
THis could be a virus/malware issue I'm not sure. Both programs don't open to the homepage. My connection is fine, my trend micro security program went out of date but I downloaded AVG for free, so I could have less security than I previously had. Anyhow I can no longer access the internet on any browser.

Does it open to anything or can't get on internet at all?

Don't know if related but would suggest malwarebytes as something to do, freeware and no need to purchase - install, let it update itself and run full scan, after scan, let it remove what it finds
