    Hi all:

If you are lucky you can pick up a replacement trip lever cover plate... see image. These are available at all home supply stores. You should NOT need to replace the entire assembly... OK?

Simply remove your old face plate by removing the cotter pin on the back side of the face plate and install the new one by installing the new face plate with the new cotter pin.

    Hopefully it's that easy!
