Rofl! NOW- I'm 13 years old and I think Yaoi and Yuri is sweet but I'm 90% sure I'm straight! I read more then watch yaoi and yuri. But I'm always embarrassed to talk about it with my friends because they're always like , your weird- you like gay's?
I know there are heaps of other people that like to watch this stuff but they could be bi or homo. But is it really stupid and weird that a straight could like to read and watch this stuff?
I think that guyxguy and girlxgirl is so sweet and awesome!And I'm always looking down on people who think it's disgusting. Please not stupid answers or I will give you stupid replies. All I want to know is it silly for a straight to like Yaoi and Yuri anime stuff.

I think it's good you're not homophobic. You said you're 90% sure you're straight, even if you aren't straight, there's nothing wrong with being gay or bi. But being only 13, you have plenty of time ahead of you to figure that out.

What exactly is yaoi and yuri though? I'm getting the impression it's something of a sexual nature? If that's what it is, I would think it inappropriate for thirteen years old. And that may be why your friends are weirded out by it-thirteen is too young for things of sexual nature.

That has Boy X Boy in it. Yuri is Anime that has Girl X Girl in it.
I'm not that young to be watching this stuff- there are heaps of girls and guys around the world who like to read and watch this stuff. And I'm not talking about Really sexual stuff like... you know. I'm talking just about hugging and kisses- like normal Boyfriend and Girlfriend do. Except it's with the same sex XD

Well are your friends dating yet? If not, it may still be uncomfortable for them because they may just not be mature enough to be dating. You think you're old enough, but 13 is still very young. They may not be ready for it.

well... im almost 19 I have a boyfriend and I love him AND I really enjoy watching yuri and yaoi anime, I'am actually like obsessed with Shizuru and Natsuki from Mai Hime, yeah! Yuri ;) I have a friend that likes this too, and my others friend are like... what the hell? Why are you watching that haha I don't care xD I still love my friends :) so...
