Troy bilt push mower won't start
My troybuilt is brand new, has maybe 30minutes runtimt on it however it was in storage for ~2years. I tried to start it and it would only run about 5 seconds or keep running as long as I kept pumping the primer button. I opened the float bowl and it was gummed up. I cleaned the bowl and the float, I sprayed out the carb with cleaner and put everything back together. The primer would not work. I took it apart again and noticed a small tear in the gasket between the plastic cover and the carb at the very little pee hole at the top where I think the primer is supposed to create vacuum but the gasket was not broken in two so I put it together and tightened it very tight. Still no prime or start. Please help someone.

Yes, replace the gasket, if that doesn't work replace the primer. Also as far as the cleaning goes make sure you clean out the wholes in the bowl nut on the bottom very good.
