    Inground pool collapse
    I must replace my pool liner which requires the pool be completely drained. I have heard that vinyl lined pools with steel walls collapse if completely drained but how else to replace a liner. The ppol will stay empty for about a day... JE

Existing pool liner has come off (bought home with pool as is) cement patches needed. I want to just paint the cement and fill the pool. Is that doable, or do I need the pool liner.
