    Fellon who didn't sign birth cert. w/ 4 yrs no contact rights?
    My daughters father has been in prison for four years on a felonious assult charge. He went to prison when she was 2 months old and he just got out last month. I had the dna test done so he is the father but he wasn't there to sign the birth certificate. My question is now that he's out I'm worried he's going to try and get visitation. I want him to be a part of her life but he is a stranger to her and I myself am not sure he plans on staying out of trouble. I'm really lost at what I need to do and if I need a lawyer to set up supervised visitation? And I also want to know what his rights are and what he can do to push over night stays and visitations... any advice would help

    First is there a custody order in place, is there child visitation order in place, and is there a child support order in place ?

    If no, that is the first step, in the child visitation order you can try and get the court to require supervised visits for at least a period, plus other restrictions that they may approve
