Can anyone give me some pointers on replacing the engine pulley on my craftsman riding lawn mower which is about 11 yrs. Old. The bolt in the center of the pulley needs to be removed to replace the pulley but the entire pulley turns when I try to loosen the bolt. Any suggestions?

I went to start my lawnmower this am and the cable/rope just pulled right out. How can I reattach this part? The local repair center wants to sell me $40 for the whole recoil when all I need to do it hook up the rope... Anyone have an idea how to do this? Peter
