    I put a new capicator in my ac and I still have to use a stick to start the fan
    I have a 1994 comfort maker central air conditioner and the fan on the motor won't spin on its own. I put a new capicator in also, do I need a new motor how much is this?

    If the capacitor did not do the trick you will have to replace the motor AND also the capacitor if the new motor requires a different value that the new one you just bought.

    Always replace both motor and capacitor at the same time unless the one you just bought is of the correct value for the new motor you are going to buy.
