    Movie Title - I have been searching for days, and driving me INSANE.
    Ok, first time poster, stumbled on to this site in my search and hopefully I can get an answer or I will literally descend into madness.

    The movie starts with two or three people, on the moon - they find this big installation. My recollection gets a little fuzzy (saw this when I was thirteen I think, rented from a crappy video store in valdez, alaska)... but!

    Suddenly killer robots start popping out of the ground and just slaying the dudes.

    A couple eventually make it back to earth, but one or two of the robots made it back with them, and start making more robots, and generally wreaking havoc.

    The most memorable scene involves one robot with the head of one of the astronauts best friends mounted on it - a very creepy scene.


    If you need more details I'll try to dredge my memory for them.
