Ok i'm trying to find the name of a movie i watched as a kid and i remember it being great, it had to be during the mid to late 80's, ill describe it the best way i can, there is this average guy and hes sitting in his living room and all the sudden he flashes either back in time or to an alternate realiny and there's a war going on, the enemy has a special sound based weapon and there's an loud siren that goes off before they use it, when they do anything in its range in destroyed, the guy touches a tank barrel and it crumbles into dust, anyway hes only there for a short time then flashes back, he does this like ten times and he never knows when it will happen, does anyone have any idea what the name of this is??
