    HPV and epididymitis
    Hello~
Does anyone know if HPV causes epididymitis? My brother had a g/f for a long time and they recently broke up and now he cannot get rid of epididymitis. Just wondering if the two are related at all. Please help!

    Epididymitis:

Acute or chronic inflammation of the epididymis. It may result from STDs (venereal diseases), UTI (urinary tract infections), prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland), or long term use of indwelling catheters.

Treatment includes bed rest, scrotal support, and antibiotics, as appropirate.

So, yes, since HPV is a sexually transmitted disease, it could be caused by this.
