Learn all the rules of football and pat him on the rear every time he does something nice.. :D.. No really... Be what you are now. He picked you from all the others he could have chosen.

Be the person you are. Good Luck, and I say GO... whatever team he plays for... Kit

    Excellent Kit...

I agree, just be yourself, if you try to change you may lose what he is looking for...

No need to sweat. If he's already dating you, then you already have his attention.

Just like any relationship, regardless of the person's job or career choice, be yourself.

If they can't appreciate or care about you, while you're being yourself, then the relationship will end nor matter what twist and turns you do.

Don't get jealous of other people, he is an NFL player and people (if he is recognized) will always come up to him. Part of the lifestyle.

Him being an NFL Football player, or a plumber, or the guy who works in the produce section of the local grocery store- doesn't matter what the occupation is; what you are doing is establishing a relationship.

Build the friendship first, and the trust, just like the foundation of anything you are building upon. Take your time, get to know him- his character, values, etc. Football careers are notoriously short- what are his plans, goals and dreams for the future.

Reserve yourself, and by that I mean your dignity and independence. Don't fall for the first produce guy... err... NFL football player you meet, unless there is something there that goes beyond the occupation. Remember your own hopes and dreams too.

As with any new relationship, time and patience is your best resource for determining if the relationship is worth pursuing.

    Good luck.

Thanks, good stuff everyone! Sounds like I am doing exactly what I should be then. It's just nice to hear the opinions of others. I'm going into this the same as I would with anyone else. He is interesting to me because of who I am getting to know off the field. He has already proved me wrong on the "stereotype" of a NFL player and I ust hope he realizes I AM interested without "trying o hard" if you know what I mean. When it comes down to it we all just want good genuine people in our lives we can trust... :) THX

I lived with an NFL player. Went to the Super Bowl to watch him play one year.

They are people, just like we are people. You meet them just like you'd meet any other prospective date.
