Hi, VICKI1951!
It's hard to determine what might happen to you. All we can do is guess, depending on information that you provide.
Do you have an attorney? Also, did you serve any time being inprisoned on the other offences, please?
Thanks!

First did you already do a confession? What is the evidence ?
First if going to trial they have to convict you, and often a good attorney can do wonders, if you never admitted guilt and never gave any statements to police.
But it is serious, thus the reason for a felony, because of past crimes. The DA most likely will go for jail time, most likely a small amount but will want you in jail to teach you a lesson, or just to punish you So a good attorney to work out a plea deal, perhaps in house arrest with fines and probation.
*** but if in house arrest includes a ankle collar, they are not free, One boy I know just got one and he has to pay 60 dollar a month just to pay the monitor fee for ankle , plus probation fees and pay on the fines.

I never went to jail, I feel like I let so many people down!and I haven't even told anyone. I am sure my husband will leave me he wouldn't take anything from anywhere even if he could, my mom who I help is on a walker and can not do much, this will kill her. I am so sorry. I wish I could talk to the da myself. I would do anything, even clean for the spca to keep my family from finding out. Why would they lock someone up that could do some good on the outside? ( unless they did harm to someone)

NO, don't ever talk to the DA yourself, he is not there to help you or be your friend, his job is to convict you, not be fair, not bring justice, not even to find the real person who does a crime if another is already arrested, their job is to try and convict the person who is arrested.
People who steal, use drugs, and other non violent crimes are often put in jail or even prison. The "justice" system does not go to help you but to punish you.
You need an attorney, he can work out a plea deal with the DA

Hello V:
The only words out of your mouth should be, I WANT A LAWYER. Don't say ANYTHING else. Five words - that's ALL. Ok, four.

If they make you plead, plead not guilty, but agreed with excon, you should ask for an attorney before you do anything.
Now here is some issues, like here in GA , if you were arrested and posted bail, they will not give you a free attorney, they state that if you can afford bail you can afford an attorney.

Hello again, V:
Please LISTEN to what I, and the Padre, are telling you!! It doesn't matter what THEY ask you... Let me say that again. It doesn't MATTER what THEY say to you. It only matters what YOU say to them. This is YOUR defense. YOU run it. Say the four words I told you to say to ANYBODY who asks you a question, and then listen to their answer. If that answer doesn't strike your fancy, wait till the NEXT person addresses you, and say those four words to them...
I'm not making this up, and I'm not on this website for my health. I'm not lying to you, and I'm not trying to get you into MORE trouble. These people already DON'T like you, so DON'T try to please them.

Hello again, V:
I think he'd be a fine lawyer. When you hire him, he can get ALL the information the prosecutor has, including your statement.
