    Condenser fan motor hums
    I have replaced my first capacitor it worked for about a week than the condenser fan motor stop working again. So I had to change out the second capacitor with the condenser fan motor it worked for a day an now the condenser fan motor stop working again but this time it was hot and smoking. Don't know what to do?

    Make sure the motor is running free. If the bearings are going bad it can stall the motor. That would put extra load on the capacitor and caus it to overheat. Also make sure your getting full voltage at the motor. If you have a clamp on amp gauge then check the amps for both start up and running of the motor.

    Time for a new motor and a matching new capacitor. Once they are smoked and overheated they are toast.

    The capacitor and condenser fan motor is working now. I don't know how long it will work. It was smoking yesterday from the condenser fan motor. The fan comes on now . Need help how long will this work and what is the problem.

    Will last till it stops again. Needs to be replaced
