    My girls bio. Dad in different state , not on birth certificate , can b/f adopt her?
    I live in il. The bio dad in az , he didn't want her. He is not on birth certificate , and doesn't pay child support . The dad didn't have a home so I don't have address or number and not sure how to spell his last name . My daughter has my dads last name , can my boyfriend soon to be husband adopt her?

    Yes, as long as the bio father signs over his rights to allow the adoption. Since he is not on the birth certificate you will have to most likely have a DNA test done to prove paternity before he can sign over his rights.

    Your going to have to be married first and most likely for about a year before you can think about adoption.
