We want to insulate our 1 1/2 storey cape cod home.
We have a cape cod style house in Mount Gambier, South Australia. We want to insulate the roof. We are thinking about taking the tiles off and installing either foil lined rockwool batts against the ceiling panels or spraying in foam insulation. All options seem expensive! Any thoughts or ideas about what is the most cost effective solution to hot summers and cold winters?
