    What should I do
There's this guy that I recently just started crushing on and I wish that I weren't shy. But there is another problem altogether this girl that is his ex fiancé I have met and I like her a lot I am even going as far as saying that I want to be friends but she is not over him and before they broke up they were together for along time so she still loves him. I met them both by a new friend I have just recently befriended about six months ago because thi new guy I'm crushing on is my new friends brother and my new frined wants him to be together with his ex. What should I do? Because I haven't actually talked to the guy but I liked him at first sight but I don't want to lose the two friends I have which are his ex and sister. Please somebody help!!

Wait, you haven't even talked to him? But you like him? And you like him enough to risk ruining two friendships? Did I understand all of that?

Well I've talked to him but not enough. But there is just something about him that calls out to me.

How long ago did they break up?

On the surface, this sounds like a mess that you shouldn't get involved in. She isn't over him and I wonder if he is over her.

Make certain that you aren't attracted to him because he is a wounded animal that you want to nurse back to health. It is a common scenario which usually ends badly for the person wanting to be the rescuer/care giver.

Give him time to heal himself so that you don't end up being a rebound.
