    Hampton bay fans/remote control
My fan worked fine after installation for months. I tried to use the remote as always and the fan started and stopped and the light did the same thing. I installed new batteries, but it still will not do anything. The dip switches on the fan are all pushed to the top. Are the dip switches set to match at the factory? The fan worked great for a while, but won't do anything now!

You can try another dip switch setting (on both the remote and receiver). But more than likely the receiver has failed and will need to be replaced.
