    Does anyone have the same??
    Does anybody know what takes soooooo long to get the receips from immigration office?? We have refiled immediately but haven't received even the first notice back!! (6 weeks may be more)

    Lots of applications and petitions filed with the USCIS. 6 weeks is too long. You need to see if you can track it down. Check the back of the check for a file number and a date of endorsement. You can use that information to file a status inquiry. Difficult to do, good luck.

    Tolked to the lawer and he said that they are so busy now and it may take more time... is that true?? / or should I ask for some request or smth...
    And my husband just had major sirgery we need to know that is going on... and we may have to moove and how can I change the address if I don't even know the receips numbers... :(

    This is a busy time for immigration, but confirm this with other attorneys, 6 weeks is too long for you not to have a receipt. Its usually 2-3 weeks.

    How long does it usially take the second time for all documents to be ready?? Is it faster or the same??
