    Proper way to install swimming pool skimmer and gasket
    I have an above ground pool with a standard out side skimmer I have followed instructions on the gasket installation and still lose about an 1 1/2 inches of water per day I have used dye and snorkel mask looking for a hole or tear with no luck.All my hoses are tight no leaks.I put the split gasket over the liner and outside skin then screwed the face plate on the inside and the skimmer outside is this correct.I'am going nuts looking for this leak please help Jim

    Do you see any water running down the wall below the skimmer? Your lose may noit be coming from the skimmer? Water will not run down between the lliner and the pool wall on the inside.
