    I am looking to buy multifamily hse in New brunswick. It has basement violation.
    I am buying a 2 family hse in new Brunswick. The current has violations. One is basement construction. How can I fix it

    Have a home inspection and then pay for the repairs to be done including permits.

    Get several estimates for bringing it back up to code. Make sure that is used when sitting the price you will pay.

    Once you buy it, all the problems, ( including hidden ones behind the walls) are all yours
