Does the prison have a library? If so, read books -- fiction as well as non-fiction. Ask about college classes on CD or DVD from The Teaching Company.

Some college courses can be done through "snail mail" -- pencil/pen and paper and textbooks. I did two psych courses that way at home.

Actually depends on where, the ones I have worked out has NO inmate access to the internet, and limited computer access for other usage.
