Honda civic 2001 window front passenger
Same Problem with my Honda 2001 Civic front passenger window.
The fuse for that window blows right after replacing it. I tested the switch and it is definitely not a bad switch. Any help on why this window would be blowing the fuse and not working even though the switch is good?

Look for a direct short. The problem may reside with the wiring or lift motor. Be prepared to remove the door panel and check things out. My bet is that something is wrong with the lift motor.

Thanks TxGreaseMonkey, I had already taken off the door panal and followed all the wires from the window switch as long as I could both on the door and under the dash and found no damaged wires. Also disconnected the connection between the switch and the motor and the fuse continued to blow. Then I disconnected the drivers window switch panel, which has switchs that control any of the four windows, and the fuse stopped blowinging. Do you think that replacing the drivers window switch panel my fix the problem?
