Friends of mine have a red dacshaund she (pheobe)has the cough/ throat noise described in the mini schnauzer section , but she also has a runny / heavy nasal congestion issue which requires semi constant tissue attention (wiping her nose) avg 12 times a day. She's been to the vetabout this particular issue. She's 9 or 10 yrs old, (unbeliveably adorable) the vet has given her medication which she gets as directed, for about the last two weeks. I saw it clear up for about 12 hours yesterday/ today but its back. Seems to be alergyc but the vet doesn't seem to want to classify it this way, only answer is dogs get this sometimes. What do you think thankx tuck

If you don't trust their vet, what do you think it is?

    It could be kennel cough.

What you could try is raw honey and half a tablet of the green musinex...

I've use that combo on my dogs and its worked each time.

    Good luck
