My mother loves my sisters but hates me why ?
My husband has never had any love from his mother whatsoever, she has never called him & has ignored him his whole life, she told him everything was his fault when he was 12 yrs old & that he destroyed her life, she dotes on his sisters & her grandaughters but ignores her grandsons, she has always had mental health problems , my husband is having counselling now , why would she ignore him for 42 yrs & her lovely grandsons ? Was she abused herself ? I have no answers for this can you advise me, thank you so much, cindy wright.

All I can say, and this may be hard to do. He needs to get past this. His ONLY FAMILY NOW are you as his wife and him as a father to his children. This should be HIS only concern. In all honestly, grandsons are a lot better off not knowing their grandmother. He is better off not trying to have a relationship with somebody that is abusive. Happy he is doing counseling. It does not matter whether she was abused or not. Questioning why she is like the way she is really futile and just letting it go is the best thing to do. |
