    Installing honeywell RTH230b, from Th5000
I am trying to install the Honeywell RTH 230B from the TH5000

    TH5000
    Rc (nothing in it)
    R wire (red)
    Y wire (yellow)
    C wire (blue)
    W wire (white)
    G wire (Green)

    RTH230B
    Rh
    Rc
    W
    Y
    G

Where does red go, Rh or Rc, I assume Rh since the direction say that for a 4-wire heating and cooling system. The big question though is what do I do with the blue C wire. Should I just leave it hanging there as an exposed wire? I am afraid that could cause an issue.

Thanks so much for your help.

Red goes to either with a jumper between them. C will get buged off and shoved back in the wall for future use

Thanks for your help Josh. I know next to nothing about wiring, what does buged off mean?

    Thanks again
