    Perms . What happens?
    Kay , so I hear about straight perms , and curl perms . I want my hair to have a curls to it , big , nice ones , but what exactly is a perm ? Any damages to your body ? How dose it work .

    A perm doesn't damage your body and if you are careful how you care for your hair while you have a permanent, it doesn't damage your hair either. You don't just automatically get big nice curls, you hair is given the ability through chemicals to maintain a curl from the set you give it. The permanent gradually grows out.
