    Trane XL80 TUD100R948K furnace
I have a Trane XL80 2 stage furnace just installed and in the manual it mentions that the blower motor speed can be adjusted by the spped taps wiring. It has 4 wires black, yello, red and blue. And there is a terminal called "PARK". Which has the yellow wire connected to it and then RED to LO HEAT and BL to HI HEAT. How can the wiring be changed to change the speed? Do I move the Blue to PARK and yellow in place of the blue to to lower motor speed.
The manual also has a table that states the following

    HIGH--Black
    MED-HIGH---Blue
    MED-LOW---Yellow
    LOW--RED

    Thanks fopr the help

It sounds like you know what you are doing. The wire on the park term. Is the wire that is not being used. If you want to slow the fan down in high heat switch the blue with the yellow. You will have less air noise and warmer air in high heat . The black wire is used for cooling.

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I thought I had it right I just wanted to have a second opinion (it is like a medical problem---almost!! )
    Thanks again.

I switched the yellow and the red so that now my first stage blows a little harder for a quicker warm up also I have some diffusers on my registers, so it helps with velocity on those vents.

I want to know the wiring diagram for a Trane XL80 furnace. I cleaned it and a couple wires became disconnected, now my blower won't work. How do I reconnect the wiring?
