We are trying to wire the remote control unit that came with our ceiling fan, but we aren't wiring it correctly. We can get the ceiling fan and the lights working by wiring it directly and bypassing the remote control unit and using the pull cords. Does anyone know how the wiring works on this...

I have a Hampton Bay Redington IV that has a failed receiver. Where is the receiver located? Do I have to remove the ceiling fan in order to replace the receiver? Thanks for any help.

Hi all... new to this board. We just bought a home with a Hampton Bay 52 In. Redington Iii 3-Speed Ceiling Fan, but it doesn't work? Could it simply be missing the remote? There is a "mystery switch" on the wall that doesn't turn on anything and I think it has something to do with the ceiling...
