I was seeing this guy,I met 2months ago through a good friend he worked with.I was nervous for the first time going out with him but we hit it off.He stated pure intentions & strong interest.He later told me that I made him really nervous & thought we had a connection & thinks of me a lot.The last time we saw each other,he had to work & said he'd call like always but didn't.A few days later,I decided to call & see if all's well but no response-that's 3wks ago!He made me feel unlike any other guy.He's a chivalrous,sensitive guy that's why I'm stunned as to why he's not responded.I'm CONFUSED and need honest views on this.Thanks.

I'm guessing there's something else going on in his life that he hasn't been honest about--a wife, a girlfriend, a sick dog, something. I'm afraid there's not much you can do except to prepare yourself to get on with your life. You've tried to re-establish contact with no result so the ball is in his court. Nothing will be accomplished by continuing to contact him, so leave it alone. People are not always what they seem at first. This is why it's a good idea to go slow in the beginning. Far better to be sad for awhile now than totally devastated later. Disappointment sucks. Disaster sucks worse.
