Hair Dyeing My ROOTS ? Please
I have very short hair - very short. Like 3" long at the longest part. I wear it all spiked up ( yeah I am old 48 and don't know the newer terms/words used for this stuff any more lol ). My ? Is I wear red colors and since they fade so much I redye my whole head when I dye it each month. But the problem is my roots. I am 98% gray and when I dye my hair any reds or even browns I have tried my roots look VERY bright as they are gray. With wearing the hair style I wear my roots are quite noticeable and I am in the public for my job. What I have been doing is drying my hair as close to the roots only as I can get with a plain brown color and then putting on the red I want. But this is a long process with dying my hair basically 2 times a month. Any other suggestions for my roots? Thanks :)

Ok so I Dyed my hair blonde from black using Jeromel Russel's product like a week ago. So today I dyed it again to make my blonde brighter and it became way too bright and it Looked very weird on me, so I dyed it black the same day using the dyer I bought for $8 And my hair looks way too black...
