    It depends on what sort of information you've been given. In real life you make entries during the period, they are posted to accounts, and the accounts balanced. And those numbers are just transferred to the financial statements. If it's missing, then the problem is wanting you to do something in particular that probably isn't realistic from a real life standpoint. Therefore, we can't know what that is without knowing what is in the problem.
