Green Thumb rototiller loose idler pulley assembly
    Hello,

I'm no longer able to use my rototiller because of a worn/loose belt.

I'm fairly certain the reason the belt is so worn is because the idler pulley assembly is very loose and the belt is tracking left/right constantly and rubbing against the metal of the rototiller.

After looking at this exploded diagram, it appears my pulley assembly is installed using random washers that don't fit properly and therefore make it loose.

Here are some photos of my rototiller, where you can see the wrong sized washers.

I guess my question is- am I correct in assuming the idler pulley assembly shouldn't be loose and have well over a 1/2" of play in it?

Here is a YouTube video showing how much play there actually is-

Also when I do replace the belt is it supposed to go above or below the bolt on the left side of the photos?

    Thanks for any help.

On opening the front of the dryer, I have discovered that the idler pulley wheel is squealing. When I pull it toward the front, it stops squealing for perhaps 30 seconds (during which period the dryer sounds normal), then resumes squealing. Is there a lubricant I can use? Or is this a bearing...
