Which Tires... Continental DWS or Bridgestone RE760?
I have a 2006 Honda Civic LX with the 17" Si wheels. I drive about 60% highway and 40% local roads. I normally drive about 65-75 mph, but every once I do go a little faster. In researching for a good set of tires I have finally narrowed my list down to the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 and the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. The Bridgestone is a summer tire and the Continental is a high performance all-season tire.

Here are some links to Tire Rack:
    Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
    Continental ExtremeContact DWS

I currently have a summer and a winter set of wheels. I normally use my summer wheels from March until November. I know the summer tires do not like freezing temps. The other reason I switch out the wheels is because I don't want road salt eating my Si wheels.

From what I've heard and read, both tires are rated very well. I would assume that the Bridgestones grip better because they are a true summer tire, but I'm curious about wet traction. The Continentals were rated excellent in the rain. Oh yeah... the Bridgestones are also $100 cheaper for the set.

Which tires would you go with, the Bridgestones or the Continentals?

The Bridgestones are excellent tires and better value. You'd be very happy with them.
