    93 honda accord; put key in ignition car goes dead. Shift lock works radomly.
    Daughter's new 93 honda accord. Put key in ignition and car goes dead; lights out. Fixed it once by using shift lock and moving shifter. Car booted up and cranked normally. Didn't work next time. Problem is random.

    . Remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will do this for free.
