    Urinel rough in
I have to do a rough in for a urinel. I know that there are different types of urinels which would require different rough in, but is there a standard rough in that is used. I don't have the urinel to use as a guide.

You really need to specify which urinal you will be using -- As well as its application.

Will it be wall mount or floor mount?

    Integral trap or exposed trap?

    Exposed or concealed flushometer valve?

There are a number of flushometer manufacturers -- Which one will you be using?

Is it for commercial or residential use?

If it's for commercial use, does it need to be ADA compliant?

I agree with the post above. Every urinal is different. Read instructions. They will give rough-in measurements as per urinal you wish to install.

I have measures in my American Standard Rough in Book ranging from 7 1/2" to 24" from the floor to the lip with most 0f them running at 24" to the lip. For the drain you'll have to measure from the lip down to center as the measures differ from fixture to fixture. Wasn't a installation guide included? Regards, Tom
