No one here will recommend an Attorney - it is against the rules.

Check with other people who have used a criminal Attorney OR ask your local Bar Association for a recommendation.

I had an incident 20 years ago. I am so afraid now... will court look at my record? Do I have to tell the lawyer about this incident?

Could I delay the court date until I make a trip to see my very ill mother first?

I am so sad and down on myself that I can't eat, sleep or concentrate on anything but this problem.

Please help if you know how?

    Thank you.

Yes, your arrest record will be visible to the Court when they do your background check.

Yes, you should ALWAYS tell your Attorney the truth. He/she cannot possibly provide good representation without the truth. (I am surprised that you would ask this question.)

I don't know that you can get an adjournment to visit with your mother. I also don't know if you are prohibited from traveling between the time you got the ticket and the time of your first appearance and/or trial.
