    FAN Switch
    Fan swith in harbor breeze 3-speed ceiling fan requires replacement. I purchase a new 3-speed fan switch. What is the correct connecting for the wires. Fan Switch L, 1, 2, 3 / Wire color code; Black Red, Yellow and purple.

    When removed, Old switch was in pieces. All wire connections were unattached.

    Black is most likely L, you will have to try different combinations of the other wires until it works.
