Mobile home, 1996 yr, one ceiling light is out, open neutral suspected
In a mobile home, 1996 model, one ceiling light is wired and does not continure on, recently the light flickered and was dimmer, and then nothing, I replaced the bulbs, checked the starter, all is OK, the wall switch has white hot, 110 V, copper ground and black wire, black wire has a reading on the meter of .01 when connected to the ground or the hot, I have checked up line and found no loose connections so far, in the panel and panel between sides A & B, I know a mobile home is wired different somehow?

    Information on the switch.

In a switch loop configuration the white conductor is used to carry power from the source to the switch. There should be black coloring (on both ends of the conductor) to signify that this conductor is now a hot conductor. The black conductor feeds the power back to the fixture.

If you were to test the switch with a volt meter, you would see voltage between the terminals of the switch while it is in the of position and no voltage when the switch is in the on position. Assuming this is a simple On/Off switch.
