    Does anyone know the full name of a Native American silversmith who signs
    Does anyone know the full name of a Native American silversmith who signs "RT?" I have a large, heavy sterling silver bear necklace embellished with 14K with this "RT" mark on the back.

    There are so many wonderfully talented native americans (both canadian and northwest) who work in silver and gold who are not documented. There is no possible way of finding the signature of the one you seek.

    Hi, lktolbert!

    I've looked for that particular silversmith on the Internet. That's how most of us here find things, unless the information is already in our heads. Didn't find it...

    However, if you go to a bookstore and/or public library, you'll no doubt find books about Native American jewelry and the hallmarks that are on them.
