    Judgment law
    I was not served with papers or notified there is a judgement,lien on my real estate

    Hello but:

    Then go back to the court that issued the judgment, and file a motion to set it aside due to lack of service. The judge will look at the file and see just exactly HOW you were served, if you were. If the judgment is set aside, you'll have an opportunity to defend the law suit.

    I didn't know there was a judgment lien on my real estate it was file on July 17 2002 I just find out about today

    Excon is right,but the question I have is did you not know you had an outstanding debt? Were you not getting calls or letters in the mail? Debt does not go away by itself.
