    Kenmore ultra wash dishwasher filling up with water
    Hello, I also have a Kenmore ultra wash. Lately it has been filling up with water all on it's own. I made sure my son had not hit any buttons, but even with it locked it did it. I also made sure I didn't use the sink. It also filled up with water then too! If I hit cancel/drain
    It does drain, but if I am not home?

    The water inlet valve connects the hot and cold water lines before entering into the washer, combining the two by means of solenoids in the appropriate proportions. The valve can become worn over time to the degree that it cannot close itself entirely, meaning water will continue to flow through it
