    Craftsman lawn mower #917273030. How do you tighten the belts that go to blades?
    I have a craftsman lawn mower model 917273030,when the blades hit the grass they stop spinnig, belts slip. I need to know how to tighten the belts that go to the blades. Thanks

    Assuming you have the right size belt. The belt has sliped so much the belt has worn out and setting in the pully deeper, which make the belt longer. Or the pullys are worn out letting the belt set deeper in making belt longer. One or the other
