    8 weeks but the growth in U/S shows 5 weeks
    Hi, after trying couple of times and one early m/c, I conceived and thought things went smooth till today. Am 8 weeks pregnant and went for the U/S today. They found the foetus to have just 5 weeks of growth when ideally it is 8W 4D. When I told her that am sure about my LMP which was March 6th and the ovulation on March 21 (since I checked with the ovulation kit), she said that the foetus might have stopped growing.. she was not saying anything more and left me in dark.. my HCG level at 5th week was 1800 and they have drawn the blood again today. Am suppose to meet the doc 2mrw morning to compare the hcg levels and the U/S report. Am really confused with all the stuff happening around me and my husband is really depressed.
    I have not got my periods.. and still have sore busts...

    What were the results of your recent hcg levels? The 8w/4d is closer to your LMP... (gestational age). Fertilizational age would be closer to the 5w mark which is where baby would actually be.
