    Lawn chief stalling
    I have a lawn chief 440 and when the mower is engaged it tries to stall out and quit even at full throttle. Please help. Thanks

    Before we get into the engine lets check the balde. Pull the spark plug wire and manually turn the blade, does it turn freely, no binding?

My mower blades engage when the cutting deck is lowered, it runs fine as long as I cut high, but if I lower it to low it starts to cut out even on the driveway. What could it be?
