Hi my name is jennifer and I'm writing because on dec 31st 2009 I lost my best friend and she was also my brotehrs girlfriend and the mother of my two nieces... now 4 months later our family still struggles to get by but most of all my nieces wonder where their mom is and my brother is unemployed and is running out of options to take care of these two little girls does anyone know of any websites or anything that can help my brother and my neices physically and emotionally?

Your brother can call the county human services office and get into the social service network. He'll receive information about food pantries, help with job hunting, family and grief counseling, help with rent/mortgage and bills, etc. Many townships and village halls also offer services and know of the organizations that will help. Area churches will have programs to help those out of work and whose home might be taken away. The public library should have all the phone numbers and contact names for these.
