Washer spins while it drains and leaks
My wife had a problem with our Kenmore washer model number 110.26914691 with water all over the floor during a large cycle. I took it outside and checked to see if there were any leaks in the hoses or tub. There were none. I removed the cabinet and ran a small load test cycle. I was able to confirm that the washer fills, agitates drains and spins with no leaks from the plumbing or tub. The only thing that I think might be wrong is that when it goes into drain cycle it spins at the same time. I was always under the impression that it should drain first and then spin. Therefore, maybe with a large load it is sending water over the top when spinning. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Thank you!

The washer should drain and begin the spin at the same time, however it takes a short while for the spin to get up to full speed. However I won't say that your tub might be overfilling.

It could also be coming from your drain, on large loads, the drain line may become flooded and backup a slight bit, mine does that on large loads, spits a little water out of the drain pipe. Being on a concrete floor I never messed with it.

If it just started doing it, you may have a clog in the drain line. (if its coming from the drain line)
