Eating the Organs of Animals. Is Doing That Unhealthy for Us?
    Hi, all!

I've heard that it is. Is that true?

    Livers, gizzards, tongues, hearts, etc.

I haven't eaten liver and onions for a long time because of hearing that!

    Sure do miss eating them!

    Thanks!

    No, its not true.

We are for the most part meat eaters. Animals can eat other animals raw and yes many parts from other animals.

There is no difference eating the liver, heart, gizzards then any other part of the animal.

Please do not believe everything you hear. Things that were bad for us one day is good for us on another.

Many people grew up on liver and onions... and other parts like heart, giblets and other things.

Actually it's very healthy. Many organs, liver for example, provide high sources of iron.
